Mark Eden Horowitz is a Senior Music Specialist in the Library of Congress. He has been tremendously helpful to Mark Walter in the latter’s effort to preserve Cy’s music, for example, locating lost (to the Walter family, anyway, but not to the Library of Congress) sheet music of Cy’s original song compositions which he had filed with the Library decades ago, and filing Cy’s sheet music and recordings as furnished by Mark in the Library’s amazing collection. Mark Eden Horowitz is a treasured resource who embodies the Library’s mission and who has been a true friend. Here are a couple of items of interest from him.
